Two-Component, Bitumen-Polyurethane Based Liquid Waterproofing Material
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
CHEMBITUMEN 2K is a fast-curing, two-component, bitumen-enriched polyurethane-based liquid material. It forms a highly elastic film by adhering strongly to almost all types of surfaces. Its chemical and mechanical resistance is excellent. Its content is based on completely elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin and is supported by chemically polymerized pure bitumen. It is applied with a brush, roller, spatula or airless spray machine, with a minimum consumption of 1.5 lt/m2. The mixing ratio of the components is 1:1 by volume.

ADVANTAGES
- Mixing the components in equal amounts, 1:1 volume, makes the process easier.
- It cures quickly.
- Thick coat application can be done, does not form bubbles.
- Unmixed components remaining outside the application amount can be stored for later use.
- Since it has a low modulus, its crack bridging feature is excellent.
- It adheres perfectly to almost all types of surfaces, with or without primer.
- Although it does not need to be thinned, solvent can be used depending on the conditions.
- Its thermal resistance is excellent, the product never softens. Maximum usage temperature is 800C, maximum shock temperature is 2000
- It is resistant to cold. The film maintains its elasticity down to -40°C.
- It has excellent mechanical properties; its elongation ability, tensile, tear and abrasion resistance are high.
- It shows good resistance to chemicals.

STORAGE
Storage should be stored in its unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment, protected from frost.
Pallets should never be stacked on top of each other and consumption should be ensured with the first in, first out system. Shelf life is 6 months in its unopened packaging.
